What is a Service and Maintenance Agreement?
A Service and Maintenance Agreement (SMA) is DHI's annual support subscription for MIKE+. It provides three key things: direct access to DHI's technical support team, every software update as it is released, and training to help you get more from the platform.
Every MIKE+ licence includes SMA for the first year, so support, updates, and training are active from day one.
Renewing keeps MIKE+ current as the platform develops, with active work across urban drainage, river basin management, and 1D-2D coupling. An active SMA is also unlocks the integrations, tools, and community benefits reserved for SMA holders. Without it, you stop receiving updates and lose access to those benefits.
How does the Service and Maintenance Agreement work?
Every MIKE+ licence includes SMA for its first year. After that, a fixed annual fee keeps it active, maintaining your access to technical support, software updates, and the full set of tools available only to MIKE+ SMA holders.
