MIKE 2025 Update 1
Streamline discharge analysis with .dfs2 support and improved workflows in the ‘Discharge through section’ tool
- The 'Discharge through section' tool now supports 2D results in .dfs2 format—no longer limited to .dfsu files. Other quality-of-life updates include the ability to exclude sections via a new checkbox, import section IDs from shapefiles, auto-open time series results, and visual progress indicators during processing.
Quickly generate flood hazard maps directly in MIKE+ with the 'Hazard Map' tool
- With the 'Hazard Map' tool, you can quickly generate flood hazard maps and flow analyses directly within MIKE+, eliminating the need for external GIS post-processing. Ideal for producing report-ready outputs with less manual effort.
Save Froude number in your 2D overland simulations
- You can now save the Froude number as part of your 2D overland simulation outputs - available in time series, 2D time-varying, and flood statistics files.
- While not typically a deliverable for clients, the Froude number is a valuable diagnostic for engineers and modellers to assess flow conditions and regimes. This makes it easier to interpret hydraulic behaviour and fine-tune your models with confidence.
