| Introduction |
MIKE Urban is the new GIS based modelling system for urban water distribution and collection systems. This course is intended for existing MIKE NET users who plan to migrate to DHI’s new GIS based MIKE URBAN platform. The course will provide an overview of the new interface and its features and will cover migration issues encountered when transferring projects from MIKE NET to MIKE URBAN WD. |

The course will cover the following topics:
The MIKE URBAN User Interface:
- Overview of MIKE URBAN WD.
- The MIKE URBAN application & project concept.
- Manual and graphic data input & editing options.
- GIS functionality: layers, symbology, labelling, etc.
- Building a basic model.
- Essentials of data import/export options.
- Tools: units, languages, selections, data interpolation & assignment.
MIKE NET in MIKE URBAN
- Importing MIKE NET Projects.
- Editing EPANET Network.
- Demand allocation and management.
- Running EPANET simulations.
- Simulations for Water quality modelling.
- Fire Flow Module.
- Advanced result presentation and review.
