MIKE URBAN U-602

Advanced Data Handling Concepts
Competency Level Level 2
Introduction

MIKE URBAN is based upon a standard database and upon ESRI ArcObject technology. These standards lends tremendous possibilities for the user to go beyond the core functions of MIKE URBAN and develop tools and add-ons that help strengthen the workflow, enhance the reporting, automate QC or whatever need a particular user may have.

This 1-day course will provide an introduction to the various techniques that may be used and show some practical examples of their use. The course aims at giving IT-proficient users with some basic programming skills and knowledge about GIS and/or advanced ACCESS and EXCEL sufficient knowledge to start experimenting and developing their own solutions rather than providing full in-depth knowledge of the subjects. Companies needing further training in these subjects can supplement this course with tailor made workshops aimed specifically at their problems. Such workshops can be arranged separately or in connection with the standard courses.
