Introduction MIKE URBAN CS is the new GIS based modelling system for urban storm and wastewater analyses. MIKE URBAN CS (collection systems) is the successor to MOUSE, and is designed for modelling professionals involved in stormwater and wastewater analyses.
What will you learn?

The course will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to MIKE URBAN software
  • MIKE URBAN GIS Interface and database
  • Introduction to Urban Drainage Theory
  • Data Requirements for Urban Drainage Modelling
  • Connecting to a spatial database
  • Nodes, Pipes, Weirs, Orifices, Gates, Pumps, Valves & Basins
  • Open channel and overland flow
  • Simple Hydrology and Pipe Flow with Exercises
  • Result Presentation

  • Stormwater and Wastewater Engineers seeking to gain fundamental MIKE URBAN Modelling Skills
  • Managers looking to gain an overview of the capabilities of MIKE URBAN
Prerequisites No formal prerequisites but a knowledge urban storm and wastewater systems would be an advantage.
