| Introduction |
This course is a natural extension to Course R-101 and is intended for those users who require further insight in hydrodynamic modelling and need to simulate more complicated river and canal systems. |

The course will cover the following topics:
- Floodplain modelling
- Stability issues
- Modelling weirs, culverts and bridges, reservoirs
- Energy losses
- Calibration techniques.
- Importing/exporting data
- Tips and tricks to making modelling easier
- Introduction to rainfall/runoff modelling

| Prerequisites |
Attendees should either have completed Course R-101 or have a sound knowledge of MIKE 11. |
