DHI Water. Environment. Health has extended its global footprint by establishing a formal office in Southern Africa with the purchase of Clear Pure Water.  DHI is a global research based technology and consulting organisation that has 45 years of experience in measurement, monitoring, consulting services, institutional support and modelling solutions covering all aspects in the water cycle from source to sea.

DHI understands the importance of developments taking place in SADC and anticipates rapid growth in the region. Water is a potential constraint to progress in the region. DHI wants to contribute to the sustainable development in SADC by improving the institutional capacity building competence and promoting technological development relevant to the water and the environment. The strategy is to provide consulting and modelling support where current technical capacity is limited while developing the institutional capacity by focussing on skills development introducing training programs for government institutions, consulting companies and tertiary institutions. The central focus of the company will be to provide a supporting role by working closely with existing consulting companies and directly with government and other clients.
