The Chinese Minister of Water Resources Mr Chen Lai On 25 March 2009 DHI had the great pleasure of receiving the Chinese Minister of Water Resources Mr Chen Lei and a delegation from the Ministry. For decades DHI has had a close collaboration with the Ministry and its water authorities throughout China.
During the visit the challenges for the water resources in China were discussed. The need for a closer collaboration within research and a continued technology transfer of MIKE by DHI to China were identified.
Mr Karsten Havnø, Managing director of DHI Solutions, explains: ‘Providing solutions to the water resource challenges in China requires state-of-the-art technology and a very dedicated staff. With our technology and our fast growing local presence through DHI China we are confident, that we can contribute and assist the Ministry in their dedicated efforts.
