The 11th annual Japanese DUC (DHI User Conference) gathered a capacity attendance at the Pastoral Hotel in Tokyo Tuesday October 9th. The users watched presentations of the news in the coming 2008 release, including the many performance improvements in the 2D and 3D modelling components. The Japanese users also received an introduction to FEFLOW – the latest addition to the range of products from the DHI Group.
In addition, students from Chuo University gave interesting presentations of their modelling work on Japanese cases.
The afternoon finished with the usual buffet party.
Some 30 users also attended the training session on urban flood modelling Wednesday morning – the final training in a series of courses, which have gathered more than 100 participants across Japan in the past couple of weeks.
