More than 80 present and future users of DHI Software in Japan took part in the 10th DHI User Club Meeting at Chuo University in Tokyo on September 15th. Among the interesting presentations was a report from the Japanese ECO Lab research group regarding their activities.
The anniversary was also celebrated with a presentation by DHI’s founder and former director, Torben Sørensen, who was the driving force when DHI became active in Japan in the 1980ies. Torben Sørensen talked about lessons learned in coastal engineering based on his own vast experience in the area.
